The New 13-inch MacBook ^^

Square one: a solid block of aluminum.
Instead of assembling a notebook from many minor parts, the new MacBook was reinvented from just one: the new, solid-aluminum unibody enclosure. It gets full credit for making MacBook thinner, lighter, and even more stunning. But it’s not all beauty. Because of the unibody, this MacBook is also durable. It was designed to take on your world. So slip it into your backpack or briefcase and pull it out wherever you go — it’s impressive in any setting.
Even the keyboard is advanced.
The MacBook keyboard is solid, responsive, and comfortable. Just put your fingers on the crisp keys and you’ll feel pure typing bliss. An illuminated keyboard, a popular feature of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, now comes standard on the 2.4GHz MacBook model. So when you’re in low-light settings such as airports or lecture halls, you can always see what you’re typing. It’s a luminous feature for anyone on the go.
Hey, where’s the button?
The amazing new trackpad doubles as a button — just press down anywhere and consider it clicked. No separate button means there’s 39 percent more room for your fingers to move on the silky glass surface. Now that Multi-Touch gestures have come to MacBook, all the function is in your fingers. Use two fingers to scroll up and down a page. Pinch to zoom in and out. Swipe with three fingers to flip through your photo libraries. Rotate to adjust an image with your fingertips. Using the new four-finger swipe gesture, swipe up or down to access Exposé modes and left or right to switch between open applications. If you’re coming from a right-click world, you can right-click with two fingers or configure a right-click area on the trackpad. The more you use the Multi-Touch trackpad, the more you’ll wonder what you ever did without it.
All-new Multi-Touch trackpad
Multi-Touch comes to MacBook in a spacious, silky-smooth trackpad that is also the button.
Simply stunning.

The beautifully seamless, remarkably thin design isn’t the only gleaming quality of the LED-backlit display. Open your MacBook and you’re instantly greeted by glorious full screen brightness. The aluminum enclosure is perfectly integrated with a glass overlay that stretches to the edge of the notebook, providing a completely unobstructed picture. Anything you view, including the glossy widescreen display itself, is a spectacular experience. The LED-backlit display is more power efficient. And it’s mercury- and arsenic-free, so it’s greener than ever.Cooler creatures. Richer worlds.
The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M brings up to five times faster, discrete-level graphics performance to MacBook.1 That means high-end, high-speed 3D game-playing power. Graphics-intensive features in iPhoto and iMovie are smooth and responsive. Movies and video offer rich colors and fine details. NVIDIA performance even makes a difference as you flip through your music library with Cover Flow or use the Dashboard.
Graphics Performance
The NVDIA GeForce 9400M delivers up to 5x faster graphics performance.
Take it all along.
With a hard drive up to 320GB,2 you can load MacBook with movies, photos, and documents and take everything with you. You also have the option to upgrade to a 128GB solid-state drive, which has no moving parts, for enhanced durability. With the ultrafast 8x SuperDrive, burn everything you watch, listen to, or create onto DVDs and make room for even more.
Ports with possibilities.
MacBook is iPod, iPhone, digital camera, and external hard drive ready. You’ll find two USB 2.0 ports to connect a wide variety of peripherals. You’ll also see a Mini DisplayPort — a perfect fit for the new Apple LED Cinema Display. The MagSafe power port gives you a trip-proof connection to safeguard your system and valuable data. And you can use the Kensington lock slot to protect your MacBook, battery, and hard drive.
Think fast.
Inside the new MacBook is a powerful Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at speeds up to 2.4GHz. MacBook also boasts an increased 1066MHz frontside bus and next-generation 1066MHz DDR3 memory. That faster memory lets you quickly and easily manipulate large, complex files and keep more applications open at once.

Mobility mastered.
Wherever you go, wireless capabilities go with you. With the latest 802.11n wireless technology built into MacBook, you’re always connected to the wireless world out there, at home, and at work.3 It’s seamless and effortless to connect to a Wi-Fi network and surf the web, send email, video chat, and more. With up to 5 hours of wireless productivity battery life, consider yourself a free agent.4 At home, stream music wirelessly from your couch. Rent movies wirelessly with iTunes. And print documents or photos from anywhere. For an instantly ideal workspace, connect your MacBook to the new Apple LED Cinema Display. MacBook also includes Bluetooth capabilities, so brilliant accessories such as the optional Apple Wireless Keyboard and wireless Mighty Mouse free your desk from cables and cords.
You. In two places at once.
Cleverly integrated — almost hidden — at the top of the MacBook display is an iSight camera. Use it with iChat, and you can be anywhere without actually being there. Video chat with a buddy, share a photo slideshow with Mom, or run through a presentation with a colleague.5 Use iSight with Photo Booth for fun photo effects. And there’s no need to waste valuable primping time installing software or configuring the camera. Like everything Mac, iSight just works.

How to Partition and Format Hard Drives in Windows
Creating and formatting a partition in Windows
Before you can create a partition on your hard drive in Windows, you will need to install an unused hard disk or must have ample unpartitioned space availabe on your existing hard drive. You can also opt to delete an existing partition to create a new one. In this tutorial, I will partition and format the unused space from one of my hard drives. The steps here will also work with hard disks with partitions which have been previously deleted; as well as with brand new hard drives.
Follow the steps to open the Disk Management Administrative Tool to access hard disk tasks:
- Click on the START button and select the CONTROL PANEL. If you do not have this shortcut on the START menu, open MY COMPUTER and click on the CONTROL PANEL.
- Double-click on the ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS icon and open COMPUTER MANAGEMENT.
- If the CONTROL PANEL is in Category view, click on PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE, then click on ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS, and lastly double-click on the COMPUTER MANAGEMENT icon.
- Once the COMPUTER MANAGEMENT screen opens, just click on the DISK MANAGEMENT option; it is under the STORAGE category. A screen similar to the one below will appear.

In the disk management tool, you will see a listing of all your hard drives and how they are partitioned. The image above shows that I have two hard disks installed. The first disk, or DISC 0, has two partitions. Drive letter C has 24 GB NTFS, while Drive letter E has 87 GB NTFS. These drive letters were assigned during a previous partition. In the second drive, there is only one partition, which is the D: partition. There is 26 GB of unallocated and therefore useable space that can be used to make other partitions.
From the unused space, you can make a partition by following the steps below.
- Right click on the unallocated space.
- A new menu will come up, click on the NEW PARTITION option.
- A wizard on how you would like the partition to be created will open. On the first screen, press NEXT.
- On the second screen, you will be made to choose between a primary or extended partition. Detailed information about these kinds of partitions can be read at the tutorial listed above. Select Primary Partition, which is fine for most people, and press NEXT.
- The third screen will help you determine how much of the unallocated space you would like to use for the new partition. You can choose to use of all of space or you can stick with the default size. After you enter a size in the Partition size in MB: field, press NEXT.
- In the next screen, select a drive letter you want to assign your new partition, or you can also use the default letter given. The drive letter you chose will be how you access the partition later. Press NEXT when you are done.
- The next step will ask you how you would like the new partition to be formatted. The NTFS file system is advisable for most people. However, if you need a file system that is readable by older operating systems, such as DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows ME, you should choose the FAT32 file system.
- You can type in a name for the Volume Label field, or you can leave it blank. This name will be associated with the new partition.
- After you press the NEXT button, a summary screen will appear. If you are satisfied with the partition you created, press FINISH to complete the creation and formatting of the new hard disk partition.
Deleting a Partition in Windows
If you have an existing partition in your hard drive, and you wish to delete this for purposes only known to you, it is important for you to know that you will lose all the data in your partition.
Follow the steps below:
- Click on the partition you wish to delete and then choose the DELETE PARTITION option.
- A confirmation box will appear, and ask you if you are sure you wish to continue. Press YES if you are only sure that you want to delete the partition. Remember, if you press yes, all the data in the partition will be deleted.
- After you press YES, the partition will be deleted. You can choose to exit the program or create a new partition.

Can't Smile Without You - Hellboy II (The Golden Army) 2008
You know I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
You see I feel sad when you're sad
I feel glad when you're glad
If you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile without you
You came along just like a song
And brighten my day
Who would of believed that you where part of a dream
Now it all seems light years away
And now you know I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
You see I feel sad when your sad
I feel glad when you're glad
If you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile
Now some people say happiness takes so very long to find
Well, I'm finding it hard leaving your love behind me
And you see I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
You see I feel glad when you're glad
I feel sad when you're sad
If you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile without you

What's MRU list?
What are CBR, VBR, & ABR?
VBR = Variable Bitrate
ABR = Average Bitrate
CBR ( Constant Bitrate ) means that the bitrat selected ( 128kbps, 192kbps, etc. ) is constant and does not deviate. CBR is useful for streaming multimedia content on limited capacity channels since it is the maximum bit rate that matters, not the average, so CBR would be used to take advantage of all of the capacity. CBR would not be the optimal choice for storage as it would not allocate enough data for complex sections ( resulting in degraded quality ) while wasting data on simple sections.
VBR ( Variable Bitrate ) varies the encoding used throughout the song depending on the requirement. For example, if the song is quiet or relatively simple, a lower bitrate might be used. VBR is preferred for storage ( as opposed to streaming ) because it creates a high quality output file with a reduced file size.
ABR ( Average Bitrate ) refers to the average amount of data transfered per second. An MP3 file that has an ABR of 128kbps transfers an average 128000 bits every second.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
This 4th Indiana installment surely let me down; it didn't really live up to my expectations. After 19 years, it seemed to lost a significant portion of its magic charm.
Despite all the weak slapstick and deflated tension, and some of the sequences which is too goofy to work as action scene and not funny enough to be comedy, Indy IV is still a fun movie to spend your relaxing time. What made me disappointed is that most of the ideas here are not so sparkling as it supposed (is expected) to be, can-easily-be-guessed surprises, and the ENDING! what a lame scene... I was hoping for something better from Spielberg and producer George Lucas...
It might not be as good as we expected but it's still a worthy successor to those earlier three films in the series. I peg Kingdom of the Crystal Skull below all of its predecessors. But however, Indy still rocks! It's worthy enough to sit and spend 2 hours and 15 minutes for a fun & adventurous summer movie like this.
I scored "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" a whip cracking 8/10.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008)
The characters of C.S. Lewis's timeless fantasy come to life once again in this newest installment of the "Chronicles of Narnia" series, in which the Pevensie siblings are magically transported back from England to the world of Narnia, where a thrilling, perilous new adventure and an even greater test of their faith and courage awaits them. One year after the incredible events of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," the Kings and Queens of Narnia find themselves back in that faraway wondrous realm, only to discover that more than 1300 years have passed in Narnian time. During their absence, the Golden Age of Narnia has become extinct, Narnia has been conquered by the Telmarines and is now under the control of the evil King Miraz, who rules the land without mercy. The four children will soon meet an intriguing new character: Narnia's rightful heir to the throne, the young Prince Caspian, who has been forced into hiding as his uncle Miraz plots to kill him in order to place his own newborn son on the throne. With the help of the kindly dwarf, a courageous talking mouse named Reepicheep, a badger named Trufflehunter and a Black Dwarf, Nikabrik, the Narnians, led by the mighty knights Peter and Caspian, embark on a remarkable journey to find Aslan, rescue Narnia from Miraz's tyrannical hold, and restore magic and glory to the land. Directed once again by veteran director Andrew Adamson, screenplay by Andrew Adamson and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and produced by Mark Johnson, Andrew Adamson and Philip Steuer, the film reunites the original cast and creative team behind the blockbuster first film in the series.

My review...
This second installment of fantasy epic movie invites us into its rich realm. With better meshing of the real and the computer-generated, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian holds us at two-plus hours. Like finest fantasy epic movies, Prince Caspian entertains our eyes with enchanting scenery, energetic battle sequences, and several surprises which add new tension to the movie, like startling sequence in which old agents of the White Witch attempt to channel – and resurrect – her spirit via the sacrifice of blood from a son of Adam. Unfortunately, it's no better than its predecessor. Don't expect mythical grandeur or more grown-up story line here, the four child actors just couldn't hold up the film even with the help of handsome but dull Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes). It's obvious that the weak screenplay made this movie kind of "lost in the wonderland"; it sure tried to expose the wondrous world of magic and fantasy, the characters inside are just incapable to deliver a viable ingredient of this movie. Allow me to say that this second adaption of CS Lewis popular series has lost its human touch.
Anyway, despite its preposterous story, Prince Caspian can still be an enjoyable movie, if you just shut your logic. It also got a soaring music!
The first installment was quite a so so movie for me, and this one is pretty much the same for me. Prince Caspian is no league to the mighty trilogy "Lord of the Rings".
I rate The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian an embattled 5 out of 10.

We couldn't change our past - past is what brings us to present.
Present is one big challenge - how you value life, seize every opportunities, and bring out the best in ourselves.
Future can't be foreseen - faith and hope are things that keeps us striving.
Priceless memories might fade out as time goes by... consumed by everyday pressures & wearied by every obstacles we met.
I believe that by sharing our thoughts, ideas, opinions, as well as bits-and-pieces of our life will be a great way to expand our horizon and contribute to others' life.
